· The yard is very close to a designated industrial zone where any specialised engineering services needed for the marine industry are easily available. The custom bonded warehouse facilities are available on lease near the yard.

· All major suppliers of raw materials like Marine grade steel, Paints, Lubricants, Hydraulic components, Navigation items, Generators and other Marine consumables are located nearby.

• Marine statutory bodies like IRS, RINA and MMD (Mercantile Marine Department – Nodal Agency in India for all Marine Activities) and reputed shipping agents have their offices in Mangalore. The services of these agencies can be conveniently availed by the yard in a very short notice.
